Art. I, 9 (in part). Rights of Accused in Criminal Prosecutions: no natural person can be compelled to give evidence against himself, nor can he be deprived of his life, liberty, or property, unless by the judgment of his peers or the law of the land.

Art. I, 26. No Discrimination by Commonwealth and Its Political Subdivisions. Neither the Commonwealth nor any political subdivision thereof shall deny to any natural person the enjoyment of any civil right, nor discriminate against any natural person in the exercise of any civil right.
